Brendan O'Farrell is the director of the Interprofessional Healthcare Residential College (IHRC or “iRock”)*, a signature living-learning program at the University of Kentucky (UK).
Originally from Knoxville, Tennessee, Brendan is an IEA Fulbright scholar with more than 10 years’ experience in higher education. He completed his undergraduate and Masters degrees, respectively, in literature and writing at Georgetown University and the University of Tennessee. He completed his PhD in educational policy and evaluation at the University of Kentucky. His professional interests and areas of expertise include high-impact educational programs (e.g. experiential learning, international education, and honors.) Prior to his time in CHS, Brendan served as the International Director in the Gatton College of Business & Economics. In his free time, Brendan enjoys planning date nights with his stylish wife Rachel and walking around the block with his two sons, Finnegan and Lochlann.
